Latest Nail Tips - Beauty tips

A very popular trend nowadays is the creation of nail art. Art is becoming very common among women of today as it makes the nails look really attractive and interesting. The market is packed with different colors and shades of polishes that are available to be applied on nails everywhere. Glitter, stickers, gems and rhinestones can also be applied to improve and brighten their looks.

Art designs look best on shaped and long nails. However, not everyone can grow such long nails. So, this is where nail tips and extensions come in handy. Nail tips are artificial nails that can be attached to one’s natural nails to give the illusion of long and healthy nails. In addition, these nails have beautiful designs that look stunning. As far as taking care of the nails with artificial tips goes, having infections and fungus can be common if the nails are not applied correctly. These infections can be prevented. Fungus is in fact, not that common if the facilities are maintained correctly. Even doctors cannot be sure about fungus just by looking at it. If someone has it, doctors would have to grow a culture and that process can sometimes take weeks or months

Did Katy Perry Just Diss Beyonce?

Katy Perry is so excited about the prospect of a collaboration with BFF Rihanna, she may have put her foot in her mouth discussing the potential project.

Perry weighed in on the forthcoming song (which undoubtedly will be a catchy #1 hit with those two working together), with an apparent dig at Beyonce:

"We've collaborated on things, just not songs yet. It's one of those things that's got so much build-up that we have to deliver," she said on BBC Radio 1.

Katy Perry is BackBeyonce in Concert

"I want it to be like that Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin song 'Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves,' not 'Beautiful Liar.' I definitely want to do something iconic."

Beyonce's 2007 track "Beautiful Liar," featuring Shakira, isn't her best song, but it did reach No. 1 on the iTunes best-seller list and U.S. Hot Singles Sales.

Perry doesn't have a reputation for starting beef with other celebs, so we're guessing she did not mean it as an insult ... even if it sort of reads that way.

Maybe Bey and Katy can collaborate next and bury the hatchet in this non-feud?

In sort of related news, KP sort of embarrassed herself covering "N****s In Paris" by Jay-Z and Kanye West at the same BBC Radio 1 appearance.

Kim Zolciak: Pregnant Again!

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann aren't wasting any time adding to their family.

Adriana Lima: Pregnant Again!

Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima is ready to welcome another little angel.

The Brazilian beauty, 30, is expecting her second child later this year.

Lima is already mom to 2-year-old daughter Valentina. The man responsible is former NBA player Marko Jaric, 33. No longer in the league, he spends his days impregnating Adriana Lima, apparently. Not a bad career move really.

Lima's rep says that “the entire family is very excited, especially Valentina. She keeps blowing kisses to my belly and saying, ‘Kisses for the baby.’”

When the model met Jaric, 33, at a party in L.A. in 2006, “I knew he was the one and I could see myself married to him and with a big family.”

The couple wed on Valentine’s Day 2009 and soon after the honeymoon, they learned they were expecting their first child. Now it's time for #2!

While Lima has continued to strut her stuff on the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, she calls motherhood her "favorite career."

“The best job in the world for me is being a mom,” she says. “I always thought, does unconditional love exist? Now I know it does because I feel it.”

Justin Bieber: Bloody in Complex

Take a deep breath, young ladies: Justin Bieber is okay. But he sure doesn't look that way in the latest issue of Complex.

The 18-year old singer is featured on dueling covers of the magazine's 10th anniversary issue, which goes on sale April 3, and he's channeling Tyler Duren from Fight Club for each. See for yourself:

Inside the publication, Bieber jokes that he's actually a "40-year old man in disguise," while warning new and old fans that his upcoming album will be a departure from his past material.

"People just need to take a chance and listen," he says of the CD, which is reported to be chock full of hip-hop and rap. "That's going to be the biggest problem, to make them feel like it's cool for them to like my music."

Justin's first single off the album will drop on March 26 and he's giving fans a chance to vote for the cover art for it.

Dus 2 to be made?

Producer Nitin Manmohan is gearing up to make a sequel of his 2005 multi-starrer, Dus. But instead of discussing the project with Anubhav Sinha, who directed the first movie, he has approached director Samir Karnik of Yamla Pagla Deewana (2011) fame. “He asked me if I could do Dus 2 and I readily agreed.” says Samir.

Karnik insists that his movie won’t be a sequel and that he will turn Dus into a series. When asked what the difference between the two is, he explains, “A sequel continues from where the original ends. On the other hand, a series is a completely new story, but in most cases, with the same characters. I would say Dhoom 2 (2006) is a sequel to Dhoom (2004), whereas Munnabhai (2003) is a series and I must say that Raju Hirani (director) has figured it out well.”

Though the idea of making Dus 2 is still in its initial stage, Samir has already started mapping the plot in his mind. “The movie will have a completely different setup this time,” says the director, who despite giving a hit last year didn’t have a great start to 2012 since his latest film, Chaar Din Ki Chandni bombed badly at the box-office.

The original action-thriller saw a host of actors such as Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, Zayed Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Esha Deol and Diya Mirza among others. But when asked if it was possible to bring together such a stellar cast for the project, Karnik says, “I frankly don’t know. But it would be interesting to see if Nitin pulls that off since he seems very kicked about the project. And honestly, if he manages to rope in so many stars, then it will be one of the sleekest movies anyone can attempt to make.”

The makers of the movie are yet to figure when they can start work on the film.

Poonam Pandey gifts racy pic to Virat Kohli!

Virat Kohli, who led India to victory against Pakistan in yesterday's Asia Cup match, has found an admirer in strip queen Poonam Pandey. The starlet posted a picture in white lingerie for the hot cricketer on Twitter.

She tweeted: "NewPic wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww whattta match muwaaaaah luv u virattttt."

Other related tweets:

Poonam Pandey (@iPoonampandey): Very well played Kohli! massive applauds to your spirit! You done us proud today and we will always remember this special innings.

Poonam Pandey (@iPoonampandey): #thankyoukohli for giving us such a great victory.

Poonam Pandey (@iPoonampandey): Jaise bhagwan Ram ke liye Hanuman, vaise hi team India ke liye Virat Kohli. SANKAT MOCHAN via @rohitbansal002.

Poonam Pandey (@iPoonampandey): Kholi (sic) seems to be prepared to show the finger _|_ after d match.... :P lol.

Poonam Pandey posted lingerie pic for Virat Kohli on Twitter.

This isn't the first time that the starlet has used cricket to promote herself. She had recently tweeted an old nude picture for Sachin Tendulkar when he scored his 100th ton. The tweet read: "This historic moment reminds me of an old picture which one of my fan had Morphed."

Earlier also, she had vowed to strip naked if India wins the World Cup. She had posted videos titled Bathroom Secret, Bedroom Secret and Mirror Act for the Men in Blue.

Sachin is my son’s greatest hero: Vidhu Vinod Chopra

The 100th ton is finally in the history books. And the question on everyone’s mind is: What is next for Sachin Tendulkar? Today, it’s taking Team India to the Asia Cup final and later giving Mumbai Indians a winning chance in IPL Season 5 that flags off in April 4. On April 27, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Ferrari Ki Sawaari, a film about a young boy whose obsession with a Ferrari takes him to the Lord’s cricket ground, opens. Sachin owns a Ferrari and his son Arjun and Vinod’s son Agni Dev study in the Dhirubhai Ambani International School and play cricket together.

“Agni is a young cricketer and I’d gone to the MIG cricket club to watch him play. He wasn’t happy to see me, cribbing that now everyone would know he was my son. It impressed me to see a 10-year- old trying to make it on his steam, that sparked off an idea which the co-writer and director Raju Mapuskar developed into a film,” reminisces Chopra.

The climax is set in Lord’s and instead of cutting corners and faking the historic venue, Chopra decided to take his film to the London cricket ground. “It wasn’t easy getting permission to shoot. Initially, I got a curt ‘no’, but I went back with a detailed storyboard and eventually was allowed access into the Mecca of cricket, including the iconic Long Room at Lord’s,” he exults.

The Long Room that the players pass on their way to the middle from the dressing room and back, is a long walk lined with paintings of famous English cricketers and administrators and dates back to the 18th century. Only four overseas players from Australia have their portraits up there — Sir Donald Bradman, Keith Miller, Victor Trumper and Shane Warne. “It was such a thrill to walk down the Long Room and on the grounds. I took Agni along for the shoot. He was impressed, but Sachin is still his greatest hero. Whatever I do, I can never be Sachin!”

Sachin in Ferrari Ki Sawaari?
The buzz is that the Master Blaster could make an appearance in the film. Last May, he had tweeted, “Vinod Chopra has a script called Ferrari Ki Sawari. Just heard it. Sounds awesome”, then posted a picture on Twitter, saying, “Hanging with Vinod Chopra and Atul Kasbekar... 3 more Idiots (sic)?” Two years ago, Sachin had shot a documentary on Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak temple, Vignaharta Shree Siddhivinayak, directed by Yashwant Ingavale. Prod Chopra on whether the rumour is true and he retorts, “No comments!”

Now, Genelia D'Souza in legal trouble

An FIR has been filed against actor Genelia D'Souza, ordered by a Hyderabad court.

A complaint was filed against the actor for being the brand ambassador of Anjaniputra Infrastructure Private Limited, a real estate firm in Hyderabad, which failed to construct a customer's duplex house at Maheswaram mandal on the outskirts of the city, reports Indian Express.

The court is furious over the actor for making false promises in the advertisements and brochures of the firm. However, Genelia has denied these allegations saying that it was a one-off shoot done 6 years ago.

The complaint has been filed against Genelia and five others in connection with a scam of around Rs 250 crore.

It’s better to be star than an actor: Abhay Deol

Actor Abhay Deol, who has carved a niche for himself in the film industry with unconventional roles, feels it is better to be a star than just an actor as people recognise you and you keep getting work because of your stardom.

“The truth of the matter is you can be an actor, but people don’t know who you are and if you are a star, people know you and you get the next project,” he says. “Unfortunately it is all about making money. And it is also all about getting the right project and the right platform. Unfortunately in Bollywood, it is better to be a star than an actor. There is no point in being very artistic when you are a star. You can at least work on your acting when you are a star,” he added.

The Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actor admits that Bollywood is a very insecure industry as people here judge very quickly.

Donald Trump on Rosie O'Donnell Sucking: I Called It!

Donald Trump is not surprised, or sad, to say the least, about Rosie O'Donnell's recent misfortunes. He says he's known what a failure she is since the get-go.

If you missed it, Oprah cancelled Rosie's show last week - amid reports of chaos on what staffers called "hellish" set - to her former adversary's delight.

Trump went on Twitter this morning and wrote, "Rosie O'Donnell has failed again. Her ratings were abysmal and Oprah cancelled her on Friday night."

"When will media executives learn that Rosie just hasn't got it."

Trumped UpRosie Image

Trump has been bashing Rosie for years, claiming the former co-host on The View was a "pig" and a "loser" after she called him a "snake-oil salesman."

In the case of OWN canning her, Rosie felt the writers, producers, stage managers and directors were all inept ... and that didn't sit well with the brass.

The brass being Oprah, who hired all those people.

Her attitude was the final straw. One word several high level staffers used to describe R.O. is "bully," something the network ultimately had enough of.

Burning question: What's more offensive: Donald Trump Jr.'s hunting photos, or that gargoyle Rosie O'Donnell's mere presence in any situation?

Lindsay Lohan Puts Herself on Lockdown

Lindsay Lohan isn't taking any more chances with her freedom.

After another bout with trouble last week, during which LiLo was accused of a hit-and-run on some schmoe, she is following the advice of her closest friends and keeping things VERY low key until her probation is up in two weeks.

TMZ reports that Lohan is basically on lockdown until the 29th.

The Hair of FIRE!

She claims she did nothing wrong, and at least one eyewitness agreed, the train wreck once again found herself in the news for all the wrong reasons.

A club-goer claimed LiLo hit him with her car in Hollywood early Thursday, then drove off, something that could violate her probation if is were true.

It doesn't look like it is, but the latest incident prompted people close to Lindsay to flat out beg her to stop going out at night until her probation ends.

Lindsay agreed and will now only leave her house when she really has to, like for her counseling or court ordered community service at the morgue.

Her next, and potentially last, probation hearing is set for March 29.

Jersey Shore Season 6: It's On, With Pregnant Snooki!

When Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi confirmed she's expecting a baby, many assumed that the MTV reality series, which just wrapped its fifth season (in just over two years' time), was kaput, officially, or at least destined to lose the Snook.

No. Season 6 is a go, with the full cast in tow. Fist-pump/head-slap!

Snooki Promo Photo

The show will return again to the STD-friendly confines of Seaside Heights, N.J., where the gang will venture into "uncharted territory" this time around.

A press release from MTV, confirming the new season today, reads:

"While things will definitely be a little different this time when they hit the boardwalk, their trademark hilarity and family dysfunction will remain the same."

That's putting it mildly. Say a prayer for the unborn guido/ette.

Incidentally, Snooki's baby, her first with fiance Jionni LaValle, isn't due until the fall, so that leaves time for plenty of pregnant partying this summer.

George Clooney Speaks Out After Arrest: They Kill People...

George Clooney is a free man, and also a talkative one, as the Oscar winner appeared on Fox News Sunday yesterday just two days after he was arrested outside the Sudanese Embassy in D.C.

George Clooney Press Conference Pic

Clooney came out and accused that nation's president, Omar al-Bashir, of "bombing indiscriminate, innocent civilians with Antonov planes" and added:

"They kill people, but more than that, they're keeping them hiding in the rocks, in the caves, so that they can't farm, and they miss their planting season this year. This is the oldest society in the world, if you read the Bible. These people have been there forever, and now they're not going to be able to feed themselves coming up in the next few months."

The star speaks from first-hand experience and says he has no regrets over Friday's arrest.

"I grew up in a family that believed that your job was to be involved with your fellow man. You have a responsibility to participate in the human condition, one way or another."o

KJo a big fan of Emraan Hashmi!

Karan Johar may be a big fan of Emraan Hashmi, but the producer-director is keeping mum on reports that the Dirty Picture actor is starring in his next production, directed by Rensil D’Silva.

There was a time when Hashmi was a Bhatt boy, but with films such as Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji and The Dirty Picture, it seems Emraan has moved on. “You’ll come to know about the cast when we make a formal announcement,” said Johar.

He, however, is all praises for the actor: “I am a big fan of Emraan Hashmi. He has done really well for himself and has done good work,” Johar said.

John, Prachi to dance on Na Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai

John Abraham and his leading lady Prachi Desai will be seen doing an item number on Sridevi's Na Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai in their upcoming film I Me Aur Main. "Na Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai was an item number at that time also. We have decided to go for a duet version for I Me Aur Main,"
T-Series head-honcho Bhushan Kumar told IANS.

"The song will be picturised with John and Prachi Desai. We are also trying to rope in Sunidhi Chauhan to sing the female version," he added.

Directed by Kapil Sharma, I Me Aur Main also features Chitrangada Singh and Zarina Wahab. It is being produced by Shrishti Behl Arya and Goldie Behl.

T-Series has the music rights of the project and it was Kumar's idea to revive the song.

He said: "This is one of my personal favourite songs. I am sure it will hit the chartbusters."

Why Emraan would never accept awards

Emraan Hashmi is never seen at Bollywood award functions, whether as a guest, performer or winner. This year, he was up for a Stardust Award in the category of Best Thriller/Action Actor for Murder 2 (2011) and had two nominations at the Apsara Awards — Best Actor in a Leading Role (Murder 2) and Best Actor In A Supporting Role (The Dirty Picture). He didn’t win and he’s not surprised. In fact, Emraan says that if he were to get an award now, he would not accept it.

“Audience appreciation matters more to me than this recognition. And I’d be happy if I could pass on an award meant for me to a contemporary who values it more and takes days out of his schedule every year to attend these functions,” he reasons, adding that he had once attended an awards night, but walked out after 20 minutes. “I know it was wrong to get up and leave but I just couldn’t sit through it anymore. So rather than insult a function again, I’ve decided not be there.”

Emraan, however, isn’t averse to performing at a show even though he hasn’t for the past three years because of time constraints: “Other actors need only a few hours of rehearsal but I have two left feet and require a few days’ practice. If I can make time for that towards the end of the year, you’ll see me on stage,” he says, adding that he wouldn’t agree to be a performer just to make money. “If that were the only criterion, I would have taken on projects of producers who were willing to pay me three times my market rate. Whether it’s a film or a function, I don’t want to do something I don’t believe in.”

Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan in The Dirty Picture

After nine years, Emraan seems to have finally made the A-list, with director Karan Johar saying that he’s a huge fan. He’s been signed on by Vishal Bhardwaj and Ekta Kapoor for Daayan, has three sequels — Jannat 2, Raaz 3D and Murder 3 — with the Bhatt camp lined up. There’s also talk of him doing a Dharma film to be directed by Rensil D’Souza and a YRF production with Parmeet Sethi as director. “I’m flattered by Karan’s remark, but for me the benchmark of success is the box-office,” Emraan says. “I’ve never yearned to be on any A, B or C list. It’s enough if I’m accepted by the audience.”

Emraan’s ‘A’ list
Apsara Film and Television Producers’ Guild Award: Nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Best Actor in a Negative Role (Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, 2011), Best Actor in a Leading Role (Murder 2, 2012) and Best Actor in a Supporting Role (The Dirty Picture, 2012)

Screen Awards: Won for Best Villain (Murder, 2005, Once Upon...)

IIFA: Nominated for Best Performance in Negative Role (Gangster)

Zee Cine Awards: Nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role - Male (Once Upon...)

Stardust Awards: Nominated for Best Actor in an Ensemble Cast (Once Upon...), Best Thriller/Action Actor (Murder2)

Filmfare: Nominated for Best Performance in a Negative Role (Gangster), Best Supporting Actor (Once Upon...)

Kunal Khemu turns action hero for Mahadkar's next

Actor Kunal Khemu, who has pulled off serious as well as comedy roles, will now be seen in a hardcore action movie. After working with Kunal in his directorial debut Blood Money, Vishal Mahadkar has roped in the actor for his next untitled film. "I am doing a hardcore action thriller with Kunal Khemu. I always wanted to do an action film. Something I really enjoy watching, this is completely my space. Somewhere it is Kunal's space as well I think we are going to make a kick ass film as a team," Mahadkar told IANS.

Releasing March 30, Blood Money has been produced by Vishesh Films and Mahadkar's next ios also coming from the same banner.

"No discussion on the title as of now. The script is being written and when the script is ready we can decide whether to give it a title that has a franchise or not. But, as off now it's not a sequel. I like to cast only when my script is written. It's too early to talk about other characters," said Mahadkar.

The director promises to show some street brawls in the film.

"I just enjoy action films. You will see lot of fights, lot of street brawls but not like any explosions and that kind of action. I have little bit of action in Blood Money as well. That will be a fun space for me to explore," said the director.

Mahadkar believes Kunal is fit and need not work on his body.

"He is already super fit. Kunal agreed on the principle that character is going to be written keeping him in mind. We will be pushing him on the sets to run around and do all the crazy things to pull off a great action film," said the director

Kalki to star in Ranbir-Deepika's film

Kalki Koechlin is finally moving into the commercial movie zone. After Daayan, she has been roped in for Ayaan Mukerji's Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. "Yes, I have signed for Ayaan's Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and I am leaving for the shoot tomorrow," she told IANS.

This Ayaan's second film as a director after Wake Up Sid, which was produced under Dharma Productions.

As per the reports, the film will go on floors March 18 in Manali.

For the first time producer Karan Johar has roped in Pritam to compose music for Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.

SRK-Katrina starrer not titled London Ishq

Yash Raj Films (YRF) officials says that their next production, directed by head honcho Yash Chopra, is not titled London Ishq, as has been reported in certain sections of the media.

"Despite repeated confirmations that Yash Chopra's film still remains untitled, large sections of the media continue to call it London Ishq. This is completely baseless, inaccurate and detrimental to the film," said an official statement from YRF.
The yet-to-be titled film, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, started shooting for its first schedule in the third week of February in London. It has been creating a huge buzz all over since the first look was unveiled.

The film also brings together the Oscar award-winning pair of A.R.Rahman and Gulzar, who along with Chopra, are working on creating some wonderful and meaningful music.

Scheduled for a Diwali release, the film is expected to add the same fervour to the festive time that Chopra's films are known for.

Pattie Mallette, Mother of Justin Bieber, to Pen Memoir

Come September, Justin Bieber will no longer be his family's only author.

The superstar, who signed a second book deal last month, will soon need to make room for his mother, Pattie Mallette. Her memoir "Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Bieber's Mom," will come out on 9/18/12 and center on her journey from a troubled teen... to the single parent of a global sensation. Referring to others that have suffered through similar experiences - abuse, trauma, addiction - Pattie says of the book: "I want them to see that no matter how desperate their circumstances may be, they can have hope for a better future." Agrees Jennifer Leep, the editorial director at publishing company Revell: "Pattie’s story is a powerful example of courage and determination that will inspire anyone who has faced struggles in life.

She’s living proof that even in the darkest of places, there is always room for hope."

Ashton Kutcher Supports Rumer Willis, Attends Los Angeles Concert

With Demi Moore out of rehab and back in Los Angeles, Ashton Kutcher is making his presence felt once again in the life of his ex-wife. Sources confirmed yesterday that the actor visited his troubled former spouse recently, and now various onlookers also report that Kutcher lent his support to Rumer Willis last night.

Kutcher and a friend stopped by The Sayers Club in Los Angeles around midnight and "immediately joined Rumer's large table," a witness tells Us Weekly, as Ashton was on hand to cheer Willis on during the aspiring singer's set on stage.

The quasi relatives talked for a few moments before Willis performed. And once the show began, Kutcher "smiled as he slowly bopped his head along to her song," this source adds. "He kept his arms crossed and never took his eyes off the stage. Ashton looked like a proud father.

He was beaming!" He wasn't alone. Other celebrities in attendance included Revenge stars Ashley Madekwe, Connor Paolo and Christa B. Allen, along with Jessica Szohr and Sebastian Stan.

Chris Brown: Loving Rihanna-Karrueche Tran Tension!

The ladies in Chris Brown's life, girlfriend, Karreuche Tran, and ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, may or may not be trading social media barbs in an escalating public feud. Either way, he's loving life these days. Maybe it’s a welcome distraction in Brown’s life now, with the iPhone theft investigation and all. Maybe it's just nice to have his ego stroked. Maybe both. In any case, Brown and Rihanna have reportedly been hooking up for months, despite him dating Karreuche Tran ... called “an open relationship” by some. However, (perceived) trouble began when Rihanna tweeted a photo of a bag of rice cakes with gold earrings, and the caption, "Ima a make u my bitch." Some interpreted that as a racial jab at Karrueche Tran, who is Vietnamese. Maybe she was just hungry after a show? Who knows. But in return, the aspiring model fired off several missives on Facebook aimed directly at Rihanna. In one, she wrote: "Let me clear the air, if you have fenty at the end of ya name or your default Is Rihanna you have a better chance of winning the lottery than ending up on my friends list." BAM. Oh, but it continues. Just to be sure Rihanna (and/or the general public) got the message, Tran wrote: "I'm Angeline [sic], you're Jen. C'mon you see where Brad is at." Meanwhile, Brown is loving every minute of this. “This is all very flattering to Chris. Name me a 21-year-old red blooded male that wouldn't love having two women fighting over him," a source said. NOTE: We can't actually find a Karrueche Tran Facebook page that looks authentic, or any proof of Rihanna egging her on. So interpret this as you will. Given the suggestive nature of Brown's collaborations with Rihanna, and the fact that he was at her birthday party, you do have to wonder, however ...

Wishing our fans a very Happy Holi!

Bright colors, Water balloons, Lavish gujiyas & Melodious songs are the ingredients of the perfect Holi. Wish you all a very happy Holi!

Katrina Kaif gets a crore for walking the ramp!

Katrina Kaif, one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood, has reportedly been offered Rs 1 crore for making a 10-minute appearance in Kochi. The 27-year-old will walk the ramp at an upcoming fashion event, on March 25 and take home the hefty amount. Southern stars reportedly don’t even fetch half of what their Bollywood counterparts manage to get for ramp shows and other promotions. Shah Rukh Khan was said to have taken home a cool 2 crore rupees when he paid a visit to Kochi sometime back.

Bollywood celebs share their Holi plans!

While Nargis Fakhri is all set to celebrate her first Holi in India, Veena Malik is in love with the concept of the festival. Here's what Bollywood celebs are planning to do on Holi. Nargis Fakhri I have never played Holi in my life, but now that I am here (in India), I think I’ll surely attend a Holi party. The enthusiasm around the festival is quite exciting. I have heard that people are bombarded with colours on this day and there are water balloon fights too. Sounds fun! But I need to protect myself and will apply lots of coconut oil in my hair and maybe, on my face too. Veena Malik I have always lived in Pakistan and had only heard about Holi. For the first time, I played Holi last year and really enjoyed it, so I’m going to celebrate it this year too. I really like the concept of the festival since I am a very colourful person. I’ll eat, play and have a good time with my friends here in Mumbai. Anushka Sharma I love Holi but this time, I’m going to be out of Mumbai to shoot for my upcoming film, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola. My most memorable Holi is the one which was my brother’s first Holi. He was very scared and I was like a protective elder sister, who didn’t let him get hurt. In the subsequent years however, he became sabka baap in playing Holi tricks. Kunal Kapoor I really enjoy Holi and have some wonderful memories attached to it. It’s one of my favourite festivals. I love celebrating it with close friends and family. But this year, unfortunately, I am travelling, so I am going to miss out on celebrating it with my my loved ones. I would like to wish everyone a happy Holi. Kajal Agarwal As a kid, I always went to Maker Towers (Cuffe Parade, Mumbai) and played Holi with friends and cousins. We played with water balloons, eggs, water guns, and I remember swimming in a pool of colour. At times, we even used cement on each other. This year, I will celebrate Holi in Delhi with friends and family.

Charlie Chaplin's granddaughter making Indian film debut

Four years after it was made and went around the festival circuit, young film maker Rajshree Ojha's English multi-starrer Chaurahen is finally up for release marking the Indian cinema debut of Charlie Chaplin's grand daughter Kiera. Despite its delayed release this month, Ojha hopes that the film - which has an ensemble cast of Soha Ali Khan, Ankur Khanna, Victor Banerjee, Roopa Ganguly, Zeenat Aman, Shayan Munshi besides Kiera Chaplin - will connect with the audience. The film holds its relevance even after four years as "the situation, about love and how people move on in life, has not changed overtime," Ojha told PTI. Insisting that a director should not necessarily be stuck with films of one genre, Ojha said the story line was entirely different from her other film Aisha based on Jane Austen's Emma. The film, made after Chaurahen, was more into a romantic comic mould unlike this film which consists four separate stories set in three different metros. Ojha was also very appreciative of the role of Kiera, cast as Lea, a girl who arrives in Kolkata, one of the three cities, to find her moorings and hopes the 29-year-old model-turned-actress would get more offers after Chaurahen. "She (Kiera) saw my first small film. She said four ingredients - my first short film, me, the script of Chaurahen and the chance to visit Kolkata and India - prompted her to act in the film and she did not charge a single penny," Ojha said.

John-Akshay: Teacher special!

Mumbai, March. 6 -- My jasoos from Juhu has decided that whether I like it or not, he will ping me every day. Today, he's left a message that Akshay Kumar has become a teacher. Huh? Basically, John Abraham has turned Akki into his teacher. The previouslybitter enemies of Garam Masala have now become close buddies. In fact, Johnny addresses AK as guruji and gives him all the credit for getting his comic timing and punches right in funny scenes. Well!

What women want, actresses tell on Women's Day

Veteran Shabana Azmi says women must be "placed at the centre of development" while another seasoned actor Khushboo feels it's time to "change the mindset of people" towards women. Women's Day is March 8 and Indian actresses express what it means to be a woman, what changes they feel should be brought about and which woman inspires them: ShabanaShabana Azmi: Separate but equal/different but equal surely must become the axiom for Women's Day. Men and Women are different... and this difference needs to be celebrated. I salute the women's movement for creating space that has allowed many of us to walk the untrodden path. But we must remember with shame that there are pockets in our country where female foeticide is still being practised... Women must be placed at the centre of development because empowerment of women is the true yardstick of a nation's progress…. Being a woman for me is essentially mastering the art of multitasking, being a care-giver to parents, kids and spouse... But above all being a woman means being informed by my gender and playing the game differently and negotiating more space for all women. The woman I admire most is my mother Shaukat Kaifi. I find inspiration from my maid who washes our dishes so her daughters can go to English school, from women who work in the fields and factories. More power to women. Khushboo: I don't celebrate Women's Day as I celebrate being a woman every day. We need to bring the change in our mindsets rather than in society, because we are the architects of our social order. Do I want changes? I am quite content with my space at home and at work. I am not inspired by any woman. But I do have the highest regard for Hema aunty (Hema Malini). The one woman has made a difference in my life was Ubin Fernandez, my hairdresser, guide, guardian, mother, friend… Lost her to cancer last December. She had been with me for 28 years from the time I became a leading lady in 1984. Aditi Rao Hydari: Being a woman means turning every negative into a positive... mustering a great inner strength in the toughest and gentlest of circumstances. In most societies, women are taught to hide their inherent sensuality grace and beauty. Every woman must be allowed to be herself. Speaking for cinema, I wish our movies wouldn't objectify women... I'm inspired by any woman who has worked with passion and lived with grace. There are so many unsung women who do that every day. They are my heroes. Pooja Bedi: Being a woman is the most complete experience. We embody and express naturally the qualities of nurturing and empathy, gentleness and compassion and an incredible inner strength. We are Laxmi, Saraswati, Parvati, Durga and Kali. Personally on this Women's Day I see no need for change, as I feel I possess a great yin and yang balance. Professionally I'd like to do another talk-show to inspire women to live their lives to their full potential... I also want to create awareness about female foeticide and gender bias. The woman I find most inspiring? Angelina Jolie. Alisha Chinai: The only way to get power is to give it away. No one understands this more than a woman. She has the ultimate unimaginable power... The women who inspire me? Sonia Gandhi, Eva Peron and Madonna. Lilette Dubey: For me being a woman means that I have the power of Durga and Shakti... the power to be a force. The power to be multifaceted. I'm lucky to be born to play so many roles in real and reel life... I'd like to expand the scope of my activities, explore new talents, may be make a film, write a book or cut an album. I'd love to be a grand mom. I've always been inspired by Meryl Streep's versatile talent and innate goodness. Raima Sen: Being a woman for me means a number of things. Independence, strength, grace, determination... I'd like to do more roles of substance, stronger characters. On a personal level, I'd like to be more resolute and go out there to make a difference. The woman who inspires me most is my grandmother Suchitra Sen.

Whitney Houston Will Leaves Everything to Bobbi Kristina

Whitney Houston may have died unexpectedly on February 11, but the singer at least had the good fortune to plan ahead. In a 19-page document obtained by Inside Edition, it's revealed that Whitney left absolutely everything to her teenage daughter. This includes personal wealth, furniture, clothing jewelry and cars. The money will be placed in a trust - with Whitney's mother, Cissy, serving as executor - until Bobbi Kristina, who turned 19 on March 4, is 21 years old. She then gets more cash when she turns 25 and the rest when she's 30. Houston initially drafted the will in 1993, but amended it to the current version in April 2000. Bobbi Kristina, meanwhile, will sit down with Oprah Winfrey for her first interview since her mom's passing this Sunday evening on OWN.
Ah, The Bachelor's traditional Women Tell All special. Courtney Robertson certainly didn't enjoy it, and neither did The Bachelor himself, Ben Flajnik. That's putting it mildly, based on his body language ... and now his words. As he describes in his weekly blog, which has noticeably regressed in its enthusiasm and zest for life in recent installments (wonder why), he writes: On the WTA reunion: "At the risk of sounding harsh, I can't say I was looking forward to seeing the women I had sent home over the past few weeks." "I was surprised to see so many of the women still going at one another ... I'd think that after a few months of not being around each other they would start to bond over the experience they had all just shared. I was wrong again." On all the crap Blakeley Shea took: "I just want to say again, I respect the fact that she stood on her own and focused on our relationship and didn't let the women affect her as much as most people would have thought." On crazy, possibly coked-up Samantha: "I wish I could say something nice but honestly, I think you can all see why she went home earlier than expected based on the way she spoke to the women. I'll leave it at that." On Shawntel Newton: "Poor Shawntel. I still admire the fact that she followed her heart and came back to see me. The women were so cruel to her." On Nicki Sterling and Kacie Boguskie: "I have nothing but respect for these two women and wish nothing for the best for them for the rest of their lives." "It still breaks my heart to watch these women go through the pain I caused them by ending our relationships. I feel so lucky to have gotten to date them." "They are women of a high caliber and I truly appreciate the honesty and vulnerability they showed me throughout our time together. Ugh. Still tough." On Courtney Robertson: "I don't think I even know where to begin." "Believe me, I appreciate what she did, coming on Women Tell All and apologizing for her actions and it seemed genuine to me. I'm glad there was some sort of resolution with the women because it needed to happen." "To see an emotional side of this woman was a good thing and it makes her feel like she is human, and a softer, sweeter side is shown ... It's a side that I saw throughout the journey that no one else did. I guess that's it for now." "One more week until the show is over and my time as The Bachelor is up. What a ride." Spoken like a man who's loved every minute of the experienc

Kim Kardashian: Dumped by Reggie Bush! Dating a Saudi Billionaire!

So much for a pretend elopement. Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have now gone through a fake breakup. According to Life & Style, Bush has "been seeing" a Kim lookalike, despite the fact that Kardashian believed these two would give it another shot after she divorced Kris Humphries. “Reggie’s her one true love," an anonymous friend told the tabloid. "He could easily fire things up with Kim now, but he’s chosen not to.” But don't cry too hard for Kim, people! Star Magazine claims she has many other options, namely a Saudi billionaire who gave her his phone number when she was in Dubai last November. “She wants to be taken care of,” a source tells this magazine. “She’s done being a sugar mama.” In other Kim news from this week: She's a freak in bed!
